Welcome to Darwin?
So, through some magical stroke of dumb luck I've managed to score a hand-me-down TiBook!
 This is my first taste of the Mac OS. I have a couple books on order but nothing in hand yet so I've been playing around trying to gather as much general information as possible. My question is, when I open Terminal.app I do not see Welcome to Darwin! only a prompt as localhost in my home directory, why is this? Thanks for any input. ps sorry if this post is in the wrong place, thought this might be the most likely to get a response. blake |
