How do I detect when an Ipod is plugged in using Applescript.

Hi all,

Is it possible using applescript to detect when an ipod volume is mounted? I guess it is as iTunes seems to manage to launch when an ipod is plugged in. It's this action basically that I want to reproduce.

All help will be greatly appreciated.
