Hello Mac Community!
I'm a switcher since August of 2002 (tho not totally) and I have to say I've totally fell in love with Macs and Mac products. I've even converted two of my family members with the help of another Mac addict. Anyway, I've been lurking on the hints site pretty much since my Mac adventure began (I just now decided to register) and I can't say enough about how much I learn here. I sometimes wonder why I even bother with AppleCare. I just wanted to say THANKS! to griffman for hosting this very informative site! redmaccat |

Well, welcome aboard.
PS - you still bother with AppleCare in case the hardware breaks; trying to solder over the web is really a pain!

I too would like to welcome you, but don't sell AppleCare short. They were very responsive with my iBook troubles some months ago and the discussions area under Apple Support has alot of users who are willing to help. And, of course, there is always MacOSXhints.com here as well.
It's finally time to have fun with computers again!

Thanks for your warm welcomes!
The reason I say that about AppleCare is because I've already had to try and use them twice and can't say I was all that impressed for the money I've dished out. Maybe 3rd time's a charm? (hopfully there won't be a 3rd time )Anyway, thanks again. |
