Not to sound like a real newbie, but I truly wish you guys could put a log in button next to the log out one?? The only place i can find logging in, is on hte main page, WAY at the bottom... am i a dunce, and there's one elsewhere? Can you put one elsewhere? it'd be extremely nice...
Thanks!!

It's been bugging me, too ... it's on the list of things to look at one of these days Real Soon Now. Hope to get to it in within a week or so...

In the meantime I find clicking on the 'PREFS' button at the top will bring up the login screen if it needs to.

logging out
urp! i don't believe i've ever hit the [log out] button except for when that one time when the site moved from new jersey to las vegas, and old aunt loadie had a conniption fit, and we were instructed to log out to fix aunt loadie's cookies. ( okay, if it isn't patently obvious, i'm unemployed )
does logout just expire the auto-login cookie? or, is it more nefarious? obviously, i would logout if i had logged in from a public or non-belonging-to-me rig. i just noticed that most of my forum cookies have expiration dates in the past, other than the ones that say [ expire: this session ] i wonder if i should just never look at my cookies again... |
