enable vB code and avatar
I wanted to use my standard vbcode links in my sig, and avatar
how come these options are off? ![]() thanks.

Hmm ... one of those is probably "my bad", the other is intentional :-).
I have now enabled vB Code in signatures, excluding image tags. Not sure why I had it disabled, but we'll enable it for a bit and see how it goes. Regarding avatars, they will remain disabled at least for the forseeable future. We want the focus of the site to be on what people have to say, not who has the coolest looking avator (although I have seen some amazingly intricate and interesting designs on other vBulletin sites). When we launched the board, we just felt that we wanted to keep the focus on the content as much as possible -- hence no inline images either. -rob. |
