Question What's with the Windows iPod?

It was my understanding that the current iPods work with Windows under 3rd party software.
Why wouldn't Apple just write some software of their own to have iPod sync up to MusicMatch?
Wouldn't that save Apple money, by not having to have 2 seperate lines, one for Mac, one for Windows?

Wink Okay!

From the iPod product page:

the world’s best MP3 player now does Windows. iPod fully integrated with the award-winning PC media player — MUSICMATCH Jukebox Plus. So every song you add or playlist you create will automatically transfer to your iPod.
