[b]quotes[/b] Why?

Quote:
I see no reason for quotes to default to bold.

They get an indent, those two lovely bars, and I feel that the bold is overboard. Can we make a quote not default to bold?

My quotes don't default to bold. How are you creating them? I just tried both the above (using the "quote" button on the form) and the following (by hand-typing the quote code):
Quote:
If dreams are like movies then memories are films about ghosts

And neither one of them appears to be bolded ... so I'm a bit confused!

I checked the templating system, and the quote tag does not add bold tags, so something's going on...

rob, he's talking about the bold quoting in a quote reply; hitting the (quote) button at the bottom of a user's post.

Hit quote button in lower-right of nkuvu's post and this came up in the post form: (screenshot).

All fixed -- this is a "Quote" reply, and there's not bold present...

Sorry for the failure to understand the problem earlier.
