That's odd. Mine doesn't say "prospect".

ok, then may I rephrase the question for clarity?
How do I move past "Prospect"? How may post are required? Or do I just have to write one really clever post? _______________ oh but for a clever tag line ....... |

One very clever post should do it.
I wish I remember which one put me into Major League. I've had so many good ones, they all blend together after a while.

try to remeber. In the mean time I'll read all your new post and try to learn from a real major leaguer. I can aspire. I can dream. I can but hope to one day be like you.

While it may seem that some leap to the major leagues through one stroke of greatness, others (the vast majority, it seems) take many smaller steps, not all of which may be great but all of which together are sufficient to secure their spot in the big leagues.
[There's a hint about how to progress through the leagues hidden in that ramble somewhere...] Of course, reaching Hall of Fame status is another question entirely ;-). -rob. |

I was wondering about this "prospect" label as well.
I think griffman is saying that there is indeed some unknown number of postings required to move you up from "Prospect" to a higher level. Guess I need to start posting more!

Re: ah hah!
Of course, make sure that your posts are not for the sake of a higher rank. Make sure they are of some value to the board. David P.S. Race you to a thousand! ;-) Last edited by dsk; 09-02-2002 at 05:17 PM. |

Just made Triple A! No more "Prospect" for me. At this rate, I'll be an All Star in, lessee, 2009. Save a place on the bench for me, Rob.

Maybe this should be in the FAQ. What are the possible labels and how do they rate against each other. (I myself has recently seen a change on my Status code and am not sure wether I've been degraded or not.)

Half the fun is not knowing what's next ;-). I will tell you there are six levels, and that there's nobody even close to the sixth level as of yet (and there's only one in the fifth level).
