Desktop Pic Dilemma

Howdy. My problem is small but it tends to drive me nuts often.

I use the random picture setting in my desktops system pref. to cycle through pics ever few minutes. If I just set a picture the desktop panel provides a name for the file but on random the panel does not provide the name of the current file. Since I use a large grouping of pictures and sometimes a pic comes up and I want to find its location I wish the panel provided a name for the current pic.

Is there anyway to find the name or location of a current picture being displayed as a desktop on the random setting?
