Hello!
I am a switcher with an OS X mouse question: Is there any way to have the mouse snap to the default button of a dialog window? This was a nice behavior under Windows XP that I liked. It cut down the amount of mouse movements. I'll even install a third-party app if I had to. Thanks! /Hal |

I don't know of a way to do that. However, the default button should always correspond to pressing Return or Enter on the keyboard. It's relatively easy to just press the key, and it saves accidentally clicking a button that you didn't want to.
Personal preferences vary, of course, but I always thought that Windows feature is awful. It makes it so easy to accidentally OK an action you didn't want because the system hijacked your pointer. |

But it makes sense when I think about how many questions with buttons Windows asks me when I install something. OK OK OK Continue OK Continue Finish. Sheesh!

There is an app for the Mac that does this.
It's called Lazy Mouse. It was one of this switcher's missed itmes, too! tommaso
