Spring loaded folder targets
I was wondering if it was possible to change the spring loaded folder targets to point to the current window, instead of a new one. A good implementation of this would probably be spring the window open in the current window, and then once the drag/drop is complete, or the drag left the open window, spring back to the original folder. Perhaps this should only be available when springing open folders contained in the original window, or toolbar, and tasks such as springing open a folder on the desktop would open a new folder. Am I making any sense? Is there any possibility of being able to do this without begging apple to change the finder?

I know what you mean. And unfortunately, this has to be one of those 'nag Apple until they listen to what the users want' things
![]() What I'm waiting for is the triple-click thing from OS 9.2 that allowed you to navigate the entire structure of the hard disk without performing more than 3 mouse clicks! (Well, I think it was three. The mouse cursor turned into a magnifying glass.)

I think the Spring Loaded Folder issue is more usefull - for me at least. I hated that stupid magnifying glass because sometimes it would spastically pop up when I was dragging or something. |
