Jaguar iPod disappears from Finder...

Hmmm... Never really had a problem updating between point releases before. Not a major problem anyway, but now after upgrading from 10.2.2 to 10.2.3, my 20GB iPod disappears from the desktop when I double-click it to open its window! Argh!

I can still access it through the Terminal and do whatever I want to from there, but it's a bit of a pain... (There's a reason we moved from character-based interfaces to WIMP!!!)

The icon does not reappear if I disconnect it and reconnect it. It only reappears after I log out and back in.

Edit: Ooh, just ran Console and found this:

Dec 23 11:44:54 HAL /sbin/autodiskmount[228]: Someone (pid = (446)) isn't responding to a sent disk acknowledgement request. That client has been disconnected.

Dec 23 11:44:54 HAL /sbin/autodiskmount[228]: (autodiskmount.tproj/DiskArbitrationServerMain.c:4450) mach_msg failed: {0x10004003} (ipc/rcv) timed out

Dec 23 11:44:55 HAL /sbin/autodiskmount[228]: (autodiskmount.tproj/DiskArbitrationServerMain.c:410) received unrecognized message (id=0x41) on notify port

Dec 23 11:44:56 HAL /sbin/autodiskmount[228]: disk2s3 hfs no yes darkpaw's iPod [not mounted]

Dec 23 11:44:56 HAL /sbin/autodiskmount[228]: DiskArbUnmountPreNotifyAck_async_rpc(pid = 446, diskIdentifier = 'disk2s3', errorCode = 0): no known client with this pid.

Dec 23 11:44:56 HAL /sbin/autodiskmount[228]: disk2s3 hfs no yes darkpaw's iPod /Volumes/darkpaw's iPod

PID 446 is the Finder... Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
=dp=
